Mosquito Control Workers Find Skeletal Remains
Investigators are at the scene in Port Manatee.

MANATEE COUNTY, FL – Two mosquito control employees checking for mosquitoes in the woods today behind the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in Port Manatee discovered human skeletal remains, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies are at the scene, and a death investigation is underway. No information is yet available on how long the remains have been at the site, deputies said,
Further information will be released pending an autopsy by the Medical Examiner's office, officials said.
