Palmetto Woman Killed, Another Person Injured In Mangroves Boat Crash: Reports
A 41-year-old woman died when the boat she was on crashed into Manatee County mangroves, reports said. One other person aboard was injured.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — A 41-year-old Palmetto woman died and another person was injured when a boat they were on crashed into mangroves in Manatee County on Sunday, multiple reports said.
Felicia Taylor was one of seven people aboard the 24-foot vessel when it crashed, ABC 7 said.
The single-vessel crash happened as the boat was leaving Flounder Pass and entering Terra Ceia Bay, the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission told the Bradenton Herald.
