SCF, Manatee-Sarasota Photography Instructor Wins Gold Medal for Art

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) lab instructor Peter Gedeon has won a gold medal in an international photographers’ competition and exhibition.

Indian Digital Tour International Circuit 2016 was organized in West Bengal, India. The competition and exhibition were organized in accordance with the rules and under the patronage of the International Federation of Art Photographers, the Image Colleagues Society (ICS), the International Union of Photographers (IUP), and the Federation of Indian Photography.

The Circuit had 295 participating artists from 45 countries. Gedeon, a lab instructor in SCF’s Art, Design and Humanities department, sent eight art works. His work received a gold ICS medal, a bronze IUP medal and an IUP honorable mention ribbon.
