School staff wins awards

Lakewood Ranch High School clerical staff are recognized for their customer service skills.

Maya Rengifo – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Five members of the Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) office staff are among the first few in Florida to earn the American Association of School Customer Service Certification.

  • Discipline Secretary Maria Alessi
  • School secretary Kristine Dittmann
  • Front desk secretary Kari Keech-Babcock
  • Guidance secretary Liz McGowan
  • Attendance secretary Darla Walker

Dittmann said, “I really enjoyed the training for the customer service certification.I was surprised to hear that we are pioneers for the district and the state.”

By raising the standards across the district, the Ranch took the lead in these industry certifications.

These women are often the first people visitors to LRHS see, making their customer service skills extraordinarily important.
