Chinese tourist pleads guilty in NASA Kennedy Space Center drone case (floridatoday.com) — A Chinese tourist has pleaded guilty to flying a drone in restricted airspace over NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, just north of Cape Canaveral, after recording videos that came within miles of key launch facilities. He now faces possible jail time and fines, while his attorneys seek a sentence of time served. The case is a reminder that all drones are banned over KSC’s tightly controlled skies.
   

5. Request for Comments: Coral Amendment 11/Shrimp Amendment 12 that Proposes the Establishment of a Shrimp Fishery Access Area in the Oculina Bank Habitat Area of Particular Concern (noaa.gov) — Federal fishery managers are taking public comments on opening a new rock shrimp trawling access area in the Oculina Bank, about 15 miles offshore between Fort Pierce and Cape Canaveral.
