• Habitat for Humanity completes Longlake Preserve, welcomes final homeowners in Clearwater (fox13news.com) — Families are moving into 54 new Habitat for Humanity homes on the Clearwater-Largo border, capping a major affordable housing project years in the making. Longlake Preserve adds dozens of townhomes and single-family houses for income-qualified buyers, backed by state, county and city support. The development showcases how public-private partnerships can expand stable homeownership options for Clearwater-area residents.
   

• The Clearwater Free Health Clinic is opening a new wellness center (wmnf.org) — Clearwater's Free Health Clinic is opening the Ruth and J O Stone Wellness Center on Court Street, expanding free behavioral health, nutrition, and therapy services for uninsured, low-income adults in mid and north Pinellas. Funded largely by donations, the 8,500-square-foot facility will offer yoga, counseling, and nutrition classes, aiming to keep Clearwater residents healthier and out of emergency rooms.
