Traffic is being detoured via 297th Avenue N, 70th Street N and 69th Street N, with electronic signs urging motorists to slow down and watch for road crews in the work zone.
   

2. Living seawall initiative underway in Clearwater (baynews9.com) — Clearwater is using a new $3 million state grant to transform several local seawalls into "living" structures that support marine life and improve water quality at Mandalay East, Sand Key, Coachman parks and Bayview Avenue. Local officials have already issued dozens of lighting code violations, while Clearwater Marine Aquarium confirmed the turtles were safely returned to the ocean and is supporting ongoing protection efforts.
