As dengue cases rise, Clearwater releases mosquitofish in local lakes (tampabay.com) — Clearwater is fighting rising dengue risk by releasing 10,000 mosquitofish into local lakes like Prospect, Glen Oaks, Moccasin and Salls to eat mosquito larvae. '70s Rock Band Little Feat Announces End of Farewell Tour (parade.com) — Little Feat's long-running farewell tour will officially end with a final show at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater on March 7, 2027, bringing a major classic rock moment to the local waterfront venue. The band is adding 11 U.S. dates for early 2027, with Old Crow Medicine Show joining for the Florida stops. Fans can expect this to be their last large-scale tour appearance here.
