• Cottondale man arrested for tackling paramedic while intoxicated (alachuachronicle.com) — A 30-year-old Cottondale resident was arrested in Gainesville after allegedly tackling a paramedic while intoxicated and caring for his six-year-old son, leading to child neglect and other charges. The child was released to a relative, and authorities plan to notify the Department of Children and Families. The judge set the man's bail at $6,000.
