• Lester Raymond Amos (thunder1320.com) — A native son of Blakely Lester Raymond “Ray” Amos Jr. has passed away at 87 after a life of military, postal, and community service. Though he later settled in Tennessee, his roots trace back to Blakely, where his story began in 1938. Services and burial will be held this week in the Manchester–Tullahoma area.
