• Man arrested nearly 2 years after shooting near Cutler Bay park sent families scrambling for cover (local10.com) — An arrest has finally been made in the 2024 shooting near Franjo Park in Cutler Bay that injured two people and sent families at a children's baseball game diving for cover. Investigators say 40-year-old Brandon Vickers of Homestead is accused of firing from stolen vehicles and now faces attempted murder and firearm charges, while authorities continue searching for additional suspects.
