• Florida man drowns after leg gets caught in rope, falls into water before boat trip with son, deputies say (cbsnews.com) — A 75-year-old DeBary resident drowned at a Sher Lane boat dock after his leg became tangled in a rope and he fell into the water while preparing for a trip with his son. Deputies found no signs of foul play and ruled the incident an accidental drowning, with limited additional details released so far.
• Margaret Ann Jones Satterfield (orlando-news.com) — Family and friends in DeBary are mourning Margaret “Peggy” Satterfield, whose daughter Susan Waters lives here and survives her. Peggy, an 84-year-old Zellwood resident who loved plants, animals, ceramics, and Miami Dolphins football, passed away April 8. A Celebration of Life is planned April 29 at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland.
