NOW CASTING — ORIAH’S NEST
Your Home Should Give You Somewhere To Exhale.

Does your space leave you feeling overwhelmed instead of rested?

We’re seeking five participants total across all categories in Safety Harbor, Clearwater, Dunedin, and Tampa Bay for FREE personal sanctuary room upgrades with intuitive empath and sanctuary designer Oriah Hera.

This project centers highly sensitive individuals—especially empaths—who need somewhere to decompress, recharge, and rest. Your room will be customized to your personality, sensory preferences, access needs, and everyday life.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Wheelchair users
• Families with a child with ADHD or sensory overwhelm
• New parents
• Urban professionals experiencing burnout
• First responders working under high stress
• Older adults who work from home

Each selected participant receives one personal room makeover. Parents or legal guardians must apply for children.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

A free, personalized room refresh using thoughtful lighting, comfortable textures, suitable furnishings, and reclaimed or recycled materials—including items you already own and would like us to incorporate.

You keep the furnishings and decor provided for your sanctuary.

We can consider bedrooms, living rooms, spare rooms, offices, children’s rooms, kitchens, and—with a limited scope—bathrooms. We’re focusing on a small room or corner, ideally around 10 × 10 feet or smaller.

Possible styles include:

• Fairy-Inspired
• Monochromatic
• Witch Apothecary
• Jungle
• Spa
• Bohemian
• Plant Sanctuary

The pictured rooms are design examples. Your space will be tailored to you.

These spaces support everyday comfort and nervous-system decompression; they are not medical treatment.

MEET ORIAH HERA

Oriah is a sanctuary designer, working artist, mother of five, Editor-in-Chief of Chakra Cozy Magazine, and a trauma life coach with more than 25 years of experience.

Her work brings together sensory comfort, thoughtful design, reclaimed materials, and a deeply personal understanding of needing a peaceful place to land.

IMPORTANT PROJECT NOTES

• We’re working with a modest budget. This is a focused redecoration of an existing space—not major construction, extensive remodeling, or a major cleanout.
• Some agreed elements may be nailed or glued to walls. These details will be discussed and approved before work begins; fixings and adhesives may leave marks.
• Furnishings and decor are intended to be movable.
• Where appropriate, a self-contained, movable water feature may be included. No permanent plumbing installation is planned.
• Water features will not be included in children’s rooms or monochromatic rooms.
• You must have somewhere to store furniture removed from the room, such as a couch, table, or bed.

ABOUT FILMING

We’re creating a TV-show pitch trailer, not a television episode scheduled for broadcast.

Participation includes:

• An initial video or FaceTime consultation to determine whether your needs and space fit the project.
• One filming day for the “before,” room tour, consultation, and initial interviews.
• One filming day for the reveal and follow-up interviews.
• Flexible filming dates arranged with selected participants. Planning is underway now.
• No acting experience required.

Pets must be safely secured away from the crew and filming area. Please mention service-animal requirements when applying so we can plan appropriate access.
