Woman Burned Child's Feet, Deputies Say
The Dunedin woman was charged with a single count of aggravated child abuse.

A 25-year-old Dunedin woman faces criminal charges after Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies say she threw hot water on an 8-year-old girl, leaving behind first- and second-degree burns on the tops of her feet.
Christina Boles of 1367 Dinner Bell Lane E. was brought into custody Wednesday following an investigation that began on April 7, the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media. That investigation was kicked off after the child was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the burns.
“According to detectives, the victim was in the care of the suspect at the time of the incident and the injuries were discovered when she returned home to her mother,” the email stated.
