• Three boaters rescued from Mosquito Lagoon (clickorlando.com) — Three boaters were safely rescued after their fishing boat capsized in Mosquito Lagoon near Oak Hill, with Edgewater Fire-Rescue joining New Smyrna Beach crews, the Coast Guard, and others in a coordinated nighttime search. Thanks to life jackets, local waterway knowledge, and strong teamwork, all three were brought to shore without injuries or hospital transport.
