South Florida civic and nonprofit organizations are invited to participate in the 2026 Fort Lauderdale Air Show (May 9–10) on Fort Lauderdale Beach through structured team volunteer opportunities supporting event operations.

The 2026 show will feature premier military demonstration teams, including the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, F-22 Raptor Demo Team, and U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet Demo Team. The event is part of the nationwide America 250 celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Air Dot Show serves as event producer and coordinates volunteer operations, providing donations to participating organizations based on the number of volunteers who support the event each day.

Volunteer team placements are now filling, and limited spaces remain for organizations interested in participating. Organizations typically provide teams of 10–20 volunteers per day and may participate Saturday, Sunday, or both days.

The opportunity provides a structured way for organizations to raise funds while engaging members in a high-visibility community event that brings together residents and visitors from across South Florida.

Volunteer roles are coordinated by Air Dot Show and may include guest services, ticketing support, hospitality, concessions support, and related event operations functions designed for community volunteers.

The program is coordinated in partnership with Wings for a Cause™, which connects civic and nonprofit organizations with structured team volunteer opportunities supporting major community events.

Organizations interested in participating may learn more or register at:

Early inquiries are encouraged as remaining team placements are assigned based on operational needs.

Community partners, chambers of commerce, and nonprofit networks are invited to share this opportunity with their members.
