• Polk State Revives Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program With Florida Department of Education — Polk County (dailyridge.com) — Haines City is partnering with Polk State College's revived cybersecurity apprenticeship program, giving local government employees and residents a paid pathway into high-demand tech roles. City HR director Chandra Hall says the training is vital for strengthening Haines City's cybersecurity and IT workforce, building on the success of an employee recently promoted after completing the program. The initiative aims to grow homegrown talent while filling hundreds of projected regional openings.
