Man dies after 2 airboats collide in remote area of Everglades (wpbf.com) — A man injured in a remote Everglades airboat collision was airlifted to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, where he later died, according to state wildlife officials. The Friday evening crash in western Broward drew a large air and ground rescue response, and investigators are still working to determine what caused the two airboats to collide.
