ChildNet will host its first annual Ripple Effect Gala, presented by the&nbsp;Seminole Hard Rock Hotel &amp; Casino,&nbsp;on Saturday, on May 9, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel &amp; Casino.
·The Ripple Effect Gala is an opportunity for the community to come together in support of ChildNet, Broward and Palm Beach Counties Community-Based Care lead agency that protects abused, abandoned, and neglected children. This event will celebrate the individuals and partners who create a positive ripple effect in the lives of children in foster care.
·Dara and Jarett Levan will serve as the Honorary Chairs for the event.
·There will also be a special performance by Nestor Torres, Grammy Award-Winning Flautist 
·Guests will enjoy an elegant evening featuring a cocktail reception, dinner, dancing, and exciting live and silent auctions featuring an original painting by world renowned pop artist, Jozza and a wine pairing dinner for eight at Eddie V’s in Fort Lauderdale.

United Way Broward's Coalition on Behavioral Health &amp; Drug Prevention,&nbsp;in collaboration with the Broward Behavioral Health Coalition (BBHC) and Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), will host the 11th Annual South Florida Behavioral Health Conference: The Power of Prevention on Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 28 at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood.
·&nbsp; The Annual two-day Conference serves as a platform for behavioral and mental health professionals&nbsp;to learn, network and discuss issues related to behavioral health practices, policies, and research.
