Event Details
Local models will highlight fashion from the Betty Griffin Thrift Shoppes during the sixth-annual ‘Fashion for Action’ fundraising event from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 11 at Hardage-Giddens St. Johns, located at 1285 St. Johns Pkwy., St Johns, Fla. 32259.
All proceeds will benefit the Betty Griffin Center, which provides shelter and support for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse in St. Johns County.
A silent auction will take place during the fashion show, with News4JAX, WJXT-TV Anchor Melanie Lawson returning again this year as event emcee. Drinks and charcuterie will be served.
“It’s really fun to see people of all ages and backgrounds come together to show off some of the unique finds at our thrift shoppes and support survivors in our community,” said Betty Griffin Center CEO Kelly Franklin.
Fashion show models represent a wide range of local organizations including Sunrise and Sunset Rotary, St. Augustine Sailing Sisters (SASS), Genieva Church, Miss St Johns County, JAGS, Bayside Daycare and South State Bank.
Tickets for the event are $45 per person and can be purchased through ticket sign up at https://www.ticketsignup.io/TicketEvent/FashionForAction
