CareerSource NEFL Hosts Regional Career Connect Hiring Events Starting Aug. 12

Job seekers can explore healthcare jobs with several employers at the CareerSource Northeast Florida (CareerSource NEFL) Career Connect recruitment event from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 12 at the Southside Career Center, located at 11268 Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville.

Four healthcare employers scheduled to participate include American In-Home Care, Angel Kids Pediatrics, Right at Home Yulee, and One Healing Pathway along with Bye Bye Dust Bunnies, Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department, Wounded Warrior Project and Transportation Property Solutions (dba) Road & Rail Services.

Job seekers can receive one-on-one resume reviews from CareerSource NEFL staff prior this event.

Other Career Connect Events scheduled in August include:

10 a.m. – noon Tuesday, Aug. 11 at the Putnam County Career Center, 400 Highway 19 North, Suite 93, Palatka. Employers include Veritas Steel and the Putnam Department of Corrections.

10 a.m. – noon Wednesday, Aug. 19 at the Baker County Career Center, 1184 South 6th Street
Macclenny. Employers include American In-Home Care and MPW Industrial Services.

10 a.m. – noon Thursday, Aug. 20 at the Clay County Career Center, 2141 Loch Rane Blvd., Ste. 107
Orange Park. Employers include the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department.

10 a.m. – noon Thursday, Aug. 27 at the St. Johns County Career Center, 525 State Road 16, Suite 109, St. Augustine.

10 a.m. – noon Tuesday, Aug 25 at the Gateway Career Center, 5000 Norwood Avenue, Suite 2, Jacksonville. Employers include American Roll On Roll Off, Aqua Gulf Express and Massey Services.

Also, CareerSource NEFL hosts its Virtual Hiring and Education Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13. Participating employers include American Recruiting and Consulting Group, AtWork Personnel, Dovida Jacksonville, FDOT’s Statewide Workforce Development, Gardner Watson Decking Inc., Metric Engineering, Inc. and the Florida Department of Transportation, The Learning Experience, Thermo King of North Florida and Titan America – with Participating Educational Organization Nova Southeastern University.
