The Mayor's Community Based Crime Reduction Program Teamed Up with The New Town Success Zone to celebrate the commencement of Autumn with their Family Fall Festival. Family Oriented Nonprofits, Healthcare Insurance Representatives, and Faith-Based Organizations provided educational materials, life sustaining resources, vision screenings, free pairs of glasses, candy apples, popcorn, and fun activities in a safe, friendly environment. There were also two Medical Mobile units. UF Health premiered its FREE Rapid HIV testing unit while Ascension St. Vincent's conducted Height, Weight, and BMI growth measurements for children. Attendees were in for a special treat when to everyone's surprise; the Edward Waters University Homecoming Parade passed by with their sights, sounds, and pageantry of School Pride!
