Comcast Co-Hosting Internet Sign-Up Event in Clay Hill on Saturday
Residents Urged to Visit the Free Event on May 6 at Clay Hill Elementary to See If They Are Eligible For Free or Discounted Internet Service

Clay Hill and Keystone Heights residents are invited to a free internet sign-up event co-hosted by Clay County and Comcast at the Clay Hill Elementary School on Saturday, May 6. The event starts at 10AM.
This public event will educate Jacksonville residents about what Xfinity services are available to them. This comes on the heels of Comcast recently announcing Jacksonville's upgrade to the advanced, reliable, high-speed Xfinity 10G Network.
At the event, Jacksonville residents will also be able to see if they qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a federal program that provides low-income households a credit of up to $30 each month towards their internet and/or mobile services. People are eligible to participate in ACP if someone in their household meets one of the following requirements:

- Your entire household income is at or below twice the federal poverty level (for example, $60,000/year for a family of four, $29,160/year for an individual).
- You participate in certain federal assistance programs such as SNAP/EBT (Food Stamps), Medicaid, Lifeline, or free and reduced-price school lunch and breakfast.
Volunteers will be available on-site to help Clay Hill and Keystone Heights residents sign up for Xfinity services. People interested in signing up for ACP should bring identification and benefit documentation.
