Thornhill, starting as a teacher and then professional welder, was suited to serve industry as a representative of Lincoln Electric. Given that experience, it should be no surprise that he has formally served as both Director of Education and Campus President at a separate institution. Before coming to J-Tech, Thornhill worked at Grainger of San Antonio as a metalworking specialist. Not long after, J-Tech was fortunate to “stumble” across his pathway. Thornhill will lead and manage the faculty in further developing professional instructors, installing a comprehensive asset and inventory management system and continuing to concentrate on ever-improving retention metrics.

Dr. Myers, a career professional from the Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) district has a rich history in the areas of administration, management, teaching, curriculum development and coaching. Given his experience, he has filled tenured roles as Principal, Administrator, Teacher and Coach. Dr. Myers will oversee the implementation of a Learning Management System, the exploration of delivering general education virtually, assist in the crafting of Technical Education curriculum, introduce J-Tech into his DCPS “orbit” and teach in the areas of mathematics and science.
