The Early Learning Coalition of Duval (ELC of Duval) is pleased to announce that registration is open for Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) 2021 – 2022 school year. VPK is a free educational program that prepares 4-year-olds for success in kindergarten and beyond. To participate in the program, the child must live in Florida and be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the school year they enroll. In 2020 – 2021, the Early Learning Coalition of Duval (ELC) contracted with approximately 400 private, faith-based, and public school VPK providers in Duval County. A complete list of these providers is available at www.elcduval.org/voluntary-pre-k/.
