Give Blood, Save Lives With Freedom Boat Club Saturday At Jacksonville Beach

Freedom Boat Club has organized a community blood drive on Saturday, June 20 at its Jacksonville Beach location at Beach Marine. The OneBlood bloodmobile will be set up at 2315 Beach Blvd. from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and everyone who donates blood will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies and receive a free t-shirt.

“We are once again partnering with OneBlood to help replenish their blood supply that supports our area hospitals and now when you donate they will also be testing you for the COVID-19 antibodies,” said Lisa Almeida, co-owner of Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville. “We encourage everyone to book an appointment to donate today to help save lives.”

In addition to the testing for the COVID-19 antibodies, donors will also get a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening.
