GreenPointe Welcomes Regional President Jim McGowan

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – GreenPointe Developers, LLC welcomes Jim McGowan as Regional President.

In his role, McGowan provides leadership for GreenPointe’s day-to-day operations and land acquisition efforts for the West Coast of Florida including Manatee, the greater Tampa, Lakeland and Orlando metropolitan statistical areas.

“We are excited to welcome Jim to the GreenPointe team,” said GreenPointe Communities President Grady Miars. “Jim has tremendous experience in real estate and land development, and he makes an excellent addition to our leadership team as we continue to expand our footprint in Florida.”

An industry leader, McGowan is an accomplished real estate professional with more than 30 years of experience acquiring, selling and developing land. He has led all aspects of the development process from land acquisition, entitlement, development and operation. McGowan’s experience also includes building and managing land teams in various locations throughout Florida.

Prior to joining GreenPointe, McGowan worked at KB Home as Vice President of Land and for CalAtlantic as Vice President of Land Acquisition. He also has served as a consultant, assisting landowners, lenders, borrowers, and government officials with land sales contract negotiations.

McGowan is a Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker. He earned a bachelor’s degree focused in Finance and Investments from Babson College.
