Jacksonville Symphony Announces Pre-Season Open House Concerts
The performances are scheduled for Sept. 16-17.

The Jacksonville Symphony will host two pre-season concerts on Wednesday, September 16 and Thursday, September 17. These concerts will be free to attend. Both performances are open to the public, but a pre-sale for Symphony Subscribers and Donors is open until Tuesday, September 8 when tickets will be made available to everyone.

With limited seating available due to a physically distanced Jacoby Symphony Hall, the Symphony asks that seats are only reserved for those sure they can attend the performance. For more information about tickets for the Open Houses and the 2020/21 season, please call the Symphony Box Office at 904.354.5547 orvisit the Symphony website at www.jaxsymphony.org.
These Open House performances will be the first time that Jacoby Symphony Hall has been open to the public since March. As of right now, the Symphony is one of only a handful of larger orchestras opening their doors for live performances. Recently, the Symphony announced the thorough list of health and safety protocols that will be in place for Symphony concerts. A full listing of protocols can be found on the Symphony website. The healthand safety of Symphony musicians, staff and patrons remains the organization’s top priority.

Concert Details:
• Wednesday, September 16
Building doors open at 6:30 p.m. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday, September 17
Building doors open at 6:30 p.m. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 8
Tickets available to the public
• The program for each concert will be the same, conducted by Music Director Courtney Lewis and featuring music from Tchaikovsky to Sousa. Following new concert protocols, each will only be about an hour with no intermission.
