The Military Affairs and Veterans Department (MAVD) will continue to offer its free tax filing services for veterans and their families through May 17.

MAVD, in partnership with United Way, has assisted with the preparation and filing of 136 tax returns. These returns accounted for more than $265,000 in refunds being returned to veterans living in Duval County.
