“It is an honor to join this team of committed Jacksonville business leaders in helping direct the City’s investments in this growing area of our city that has tremendous opportunity,” said Durbin. “At 121 Financial, we also invest in people and businesses that bring employment and greater economic opportunity to under-invested areas of Jacksonville. Joining this committee feels like a natural extension of our work at the credit union in helping local businesses succeed.”
The NWJEDF Advisory Committee is responsible for analyzing and approving applications for grants or loans by local businesses seeking to open, expand or redevelop in the northwest section of Jacksonville. The City’s Office of Economic Development reviews the applications and provides recommendations for the committee’s consideration.
