Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. believed that creating a beloved community requires a “qualitative change in our souls and a quantitative change in our lives.” The Racial Healing and Reconciliation Conference will engage participants in a safe, non-judgmental space, for conversations and solutions that provide a deeper understanding of the impact of race in our community and the necessity of compassion and empathy to grow stronger by moving forward, together, towards greater equality. This effort evolved from the collaboration of organizations committed helping cities to become beloved communities:
