What: LifeSouth Community Blood Center is hosting a series of blood drives this week in preparation for the holiday season. Blood donations often decline during the holidays and giving blood this week is an opportunity to share the gift of life with local patients in need during the holiday season.

When and Where:
o Tuesday, November 16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
o Thursday, November 18, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
o Friday, November 19, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
o Thursday, November 18 and Friday, November 19, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Why:
Blood donations often decline during the holiday season, but the need remains critical. The national blood supply is at a deficit and donations are needed. LifeSouth currently serves 70% of hospital beds in Northeast Florida. Giving blood during the giving season is an impactful way to give back to your community.
