JAX Chamber: Lift Jax Partners With Bold Bean And Manifest Distilling In Honor Of 904 Day

Jacksonville, Fla. (Sept. 1, 2021) – In honor of 904 Day, a day designated to celebrate the city of Jacksonville named for its 904 area code, Bold Bean Coffee Roasters and Manifest Distilling will donate a portion of proceeds from unique product sales to LIFT JAX, a local initiative of business and community leaders working to eradicate generational poverty in Jacksonville. The donation efforts align with 904 Day’s observance beginning Saturday, Sept. 4.

Bold Bean, a sustainably sourced specialty coffee roaster, will debut three limited-supply blends, 9, 0 and 4, featuring collectable labels. Throughout the month, Manifest Distilling will also donate a portion of proceeds from The Cocktail Room following its grand opening on Friday, Sept. 3.

“These partnerships are incredibly valuable to LIFT JAX, as they not only help us to raise funds to support the work we do, but also help to raise awareness of the work we are dedicated to in the Eastside,” said David Garfunkel, president of LIFT JAX.

LIFT JAX recently partnered with LISC Jacksonville and the Historic Eastside Community Development Corporation to launch a home repair program to support Eastside homeowners in making improvements to their homes, ensuring those families can remain in safe, stable housing. The proceeds from Bold Bean and Manifest Distilling will help to support this program, among other initiatives that support the ongoing effort to implement the Purpose Built Communities model.

Manifest Distilling is Downtown Jacksonville’s only full-scale organic distillery, and The Cocktail Room will be open from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday and Saturday for guests to enjoy a cocktail and make a difference in Jacksonville.
