Founded in 1920, the Society of American Military Engineers builds leaders and leads collaboration among government and industry to develop multi-disciplined solutions to national security infrastructure challenges. With a National Office in Alexandria, Va., and more than 100 Posts and Field Chapters around the world members, and over 29000 members, the Society unites public and private sector individuals and organizations from across the architecture, engineering, construction, environmental and facility management, cyber security, and contracting and acquisition disciplines.

David holds degrees in chemistry, mathematics and engineering, as well as both a Jurisdctorate (law) and two Masters of Law (post graduate law studies). He retired from the United States Air Force Reserve in 2019 after 36 years of deicated military servcie as both a Judge Advocate (lawyer) and EOD – Special Operations Officer (Explosive Ordnance Dispopsal). A highly decorated Colonel, he has performed contracting duties in Asia, Eusrpoe, the Mid East, South America, the Caribbean and thhe United States.

The firm received the National Small Business of the Year Award in 2016 and David has hinself received the DoD Small Business Advocate of the Year Award as well as the Industry Small Business Advocate of the Year Award, all within the past 10 years.
