JAXBIZ Endorses Candidates For Florida Legislature

JAXBIZ, the nonprofit, nonpartisan political organization affiliated with JAX Chamber, has endorsed candidates in races for the Florida House of Representatives and Florida Senate.

JAXBIZ endorsed the slate of business-friendly candidates leading up to the primary election scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, 2020. The General Election for 2020 is Tuesday, November 3.
“Our state legislative delegation is critical to making Northeast Florida a business-friendly area where companies choose to invest and grow jobs,” JAXBIZ Chair Abel Harding said. “We look forward to continuing to work with the incumbents who have served our community in Tallahassee and to building relationships with those who are running for the first time.”

Florida House of Representatives:
- District 11: Rep. Cord Byrd (R)
- District 12: Rep. Clay Yarborough (R)
- District 13: Rep. Tracie Davis (D)
- District 14: Angela Nixon (D)
- District 15: Rep. Wyman Duggan (R)
- District 16: Rep. Jason Fischer (R)
- District 17: Rep. Cyndi Stevenson (R)
- District 18: Sam Garrison (R)
- District 19: Rep. Bobby Payne (R)
- District 24: Rep. Paul Renner (R)
Florida Senate:
- District 5: Jennifer Bradley (R)
- District 7: Sen. Travis Hutson (R)
