LifeSouth Empowers Collective Con Attendees To Be Real-Life Superheroes

A blood drive is being held this weekend at this pop culture convention in Jacksonville.

WHAT: LifeSouth Community Blood Centers invites attendees of Collective Con, Northeast Florida’s premier pop culture event, to be real-life superheroes by donating blood. This Friday through Sunday (July 17-19), LifeSouth will host a blood drive at the event — providing a safe way for attendees to be a superhero to someone in need.

Donors will receive a T-shirt and COVID-19 antibody screening.

LifeSouth supplies blood to many Northeast Florida hospitals, including Baptist Medical Center Beaches, Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Baptist Medical Center South, Memorial Hospital, Orange Park Medical Center and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

WHEN and WHERE: LifeSouth’s signature red, white and blue bloodmobile will be at Collective Con at the Jax Expo Center (510 Fairground Place, Jacksonville, FL).

Blood drive hours are as follows:

Friday, July 17: Noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 18: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 19: Noon to 6 p.m.
