Window Genie of South Jacksonville is Back in Business

Window Genie announces the grand re-opening of its south Jacksonville location. Window Genie is a national home service franchise specializing in the difficult, dangerous and time-consuming tasks most can’t or won’t do themselves; window cleaning, window tinting, pressure washing, gutter cleaning and more. Window Genie of South Jacksonville is owned and operated by local man, Marcus Jackson. Window Genie officially re-opens on February 12th and services the south Jacksonville area including St. Johns, Fleming Island and Orange Park.

Before purchasing his Window Gene franchise, Jackson worked in the food industry for 20 years, most recently with a large national grocery chain. Having always dreamt of owning his own business, Jackson says, “the timing was finally right for my family and I to take this chance, and I was ready to make it happen for us.”

While considering various business opportunities, Jackson met with the local owner of a Molly Maid franchise in Jacksonville. Molly Maid is a sister company to Window Genie, both operating under ownership by Waco-based franchise holding company, Dwyer Group. Jackson also worked closesly with a friend who encouraged this entrepreneurial spirit, and was connected to a man named Pete Wilson, who happens to be a Window Genie franchise partner in Cincinnati, OH. Jackson said, “I had already done some research on Window Genie, and liked that its multiple services equated to multiple revenue streams. Pete gave me a lot of great, genuine advice and I was able to put myself in his shoes and envision a successful, happy run as a Window Genie owner here in town. The support from Window Genie’s corporate staff, backed by a 24-year-old proven business model really sealed the deal for me. I’m excited and confident in my choice.”

Window Genie of South Jacksonville is officially open for business as of February 12th. All field technicians are fully trained, insured, bonded and have passed a background check.
