• Officers recognize wanted woman during traffic stop at Circle K (leesburg-news.com) — A Lady Lake woman with multiple outstanding warrants was arrested after Leesburg police stopped a Jeep on West Main Street and recognized her at a Circle K. Officers say a records check confirmed warrants from both Lake and Sumter counties, and a search found methamphetamine in her pocket. She was booked into the Lake County Jail on several charges and bond was set at $11,000. 
• Estranged husband allegedly torments wife's new beau amid bitter divorce (villages-news.com) — A man from Lady Lake is jailed without bond after authorities say he sent threatening, vulgar messages to his estranged wife’s new boyfriend and violated a no-contact order tied to their ongoing divorce. Deputies say the threats referenced taking the couple’s child from a Wildwood home and followed an earlier arrest involving an alleged tracking device. The divorce case continues in Sumter County Court.
