Families Of Homicide Victims Receive Generous Donations
Three families who tragically lost their loved ones in Polk County can now afford funeral costs thanks to local and global donations.
WINTER HAVEN, FL — Residents of Polk County and people from around the world pulled through with enough donations for funeral costs for the families of homicide victims Damion Tillman, 23, Keven Springfield, 30, and Brandon Rollins, 27, who tragically lost their lives on July 17, in the Lake Streety area in Frostproof, the Polk County Sheriff's Office tweeted.
Polk County Sheriff's Office started a fund that asked for donations from the community on July 22, to help the families afford funeral costs, and the next day it had already reached its goal of monetary donations with enough money to help the three families.
They are no longer taking donations because enough money has been raised for the families, said police.
