Pasco Costco Likely to Open Summer 2016

LUTZ, FL – Shoppers eager to skip the drive to Brandon to take advantage of the discounts Costco has to offer have a little longer to wait, but relief is on the way.

Costco is targeting a summer 2016 opening of its new Cypress Creek Town Center location. The store will be located off State Road 56 at 2225 Grand Cypress Drive, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Once open it will span 155,000 square feet.

Costco is one of many new retailers and restaurants coming to the area now dominated by Tampa Premium Outlets. Culver’s and Cheddar’s Casual Café are currently under construction. A Panda Express and Chick-fil-A are planned near Costco, as well.

There has been some speculation that a Cabela’s may put down roots directly across from the new outlet mall.
