TALLAHASSEE, FL — Florida Gov. Rick Scott may have left a Gainesville Starbucks on Tuesday without a single drop of coffee after a woman blasted him about jobs and healthcare, but he’s not letting her have the last word.

Scott posted a video to his official Facebook page Friday that's titled "Latte Liberal Gets an Earful." The video is meant to address some of the grievances the woman, Cara Jennings, 39, raised when she encountered the governor and his entourage at the coffee shop. The governor’s video also claims Jennings is a former government employee who “refused to recite the pledge of allegiance” and that she is an “anarchist.”

The Tuesday encounter that prompted Friday’s video response began with Jennings calling the governor an expletive. From there, she went on to call Scott out on cutting Medicaid funding, “so I couldn’t get Obamacare.”

Jennings also asserted the governor doesn’t care about working people. “You should be ashamed to show your face around here,” she told him.

The exchange between Jennings and Scott was captured on video by YouTuber Stephen Bender. That video was quickly posted online.

Scott attempted to defend his record Tuesday by telling Jennings he had created a million jobs. The response didn’t sit well with Jennings, who went on to blast the governor about cutting funding for Planned Parenthood.

Scott’s Friday rebuttal didn’t mention Planned Parenthood or Medicaid funding, but his team did try to defend the governor’s record on jobs. The governor’s office claims 9,300 jobs have been added in the Gainesville area alone since Scott took office.

Scott and his entourage ultimately left Starbucks Tuesday without a drop of coffee as Jennings said, "Shame on you Rick Scott. You're an embarrassment to our state."

Whether Friday’s video will serve as the last word or not remains to be seen.

Scott recently endorsed Republican Donald Trump in the 2016 race for president. Some have speculated the Florida’s two-time governor may be on the businessman’s shortlist of vice presidential picks. Neither has confirmed the speculation.
