GAINESVILLE, FL — A 39-year-old mom from Lake Worth took no time recognizing Florida Gov. Rick Scott when he walked into a Gainesville Starbucks Tuesday. She also wasted no time blasting the Republican with her perceptions related to the state’s current state of affairs.
“You cut Medicaid, so I couldn’t get Obamacare,” the woman, since identified as Cara Jennings, told Scott. “You don’t care about working people. You should be ashamed to show your face around here.”
The exchange between Jennings and Scott was captured on video by YouTuber Stephen Bender. That video was quickly posted online, garnering nearly 100,000 views in a single day.

Scott attempted to defend his record by telling Jennings he had created a million jobs. The response didn’t sit well with Jennings, who went on to blast the governor about cutting funding for Planned Parenthood.
Scott and his entourage ultimately left Starbucks without getting a cup of coffee.
"Shame on you Rick Scott," Jennings said as they exited. "You're an embarrassment to our state."
Scott recently endorsed Republican Donald Trump in the 2016 race for president. Some have speculated the Florida’s two-time governor may be on the businessman’s shortlist of vice presidential picks. Neither has confirmed the speculation.
