• Citrus County to Break Ground on New Animal Services Facility June 15 (352today.com) — Citrus County is breaking ground June 15 on a new Animal Services facility at 3150 W. Woodland Ridge Dr. in Lecanto, and you’re invited to the 9 a.m. ceremony. The modern shelter, expected to open in fall 2027, aims to expand services, improve animal care, and better support residents countywide from its Lecanto location.
