Leesburg woman with suspended license caught driving to nightclub (leesburg-news.com) ā A Leesburg woman was arrested on Interstate 75 near Wildwood after deputies say she was driving to a nightclub on a Business Purposes Only license. According to the report, her license was suspended and she now faces a second-offense suspended-license charge and a probation violation, with booking at the Sumter County Detention Center without bond.

Wanted Leesburg man on bicycle nabbed with cocaine and fentanyl (leesburg-news.com) ā Leesburg police arrested a local man wanted on a Lake County warrant and say they found cocaine, fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia during a daytime bicycle stop near County Road 468 and Jones Drive. Officers report the drugs were discovered after noticing suspicious movements during the stop, and the man is now being held at the Lake County Jail without bond on multiple possession charges.
