The report also lists perfect-score restaurants and other Lake County establishments, plus how to check inspection details or report concerns yourself. 
• Leesburg leaders see potential bargain at old Cutrale plant (leesburg-news.com) — Leesburg city commissioners have approved spending nearly $70,000 on an engineering study to see if the old Cutrale plant’s wastewater facility could handle some of the city’s future needs, potentially saving taxpayers millions. City Manager Al Minner says capacity is adequate until 2035, but expansion later could be far more expensive, prompting most commissioners to support the study despite one dissenting vote.
• Leesburg man arrested after allegedly firing gun and narrowly missing a neighbor (leesburg-news.com) — A Leesburg resident has been jailed without bond after deputies say a rifle round passed close to a neighbor’s head while she was by a canal behind her South Putney Court home. The 74-year-old man, already out on bond from an earlier gun case, denies firing the weapon, but faces multiple felony charges related to aggravated assault and firearm use.
