Lake County deputies say she admitted driving two men to the residence, and she was arrested Thursday afternoon in Leesburg and booked into the county jail.

From longtime participant Callie Braun to rising ambassadors from Umatilla and Lake County, the court will spotlight youth leadership and volunteerism across Leesburg and surrounding communities.

Fleeing suspect allegedly uses child as shield when cops close in on her (leesburg-news.com) — Leesburg-area drivers may have noticed a tense police pursuit Sunday that began when officers tried to stop a car for illegal window tint and the driver allegedly refused to pull over. According to Leesburg police, the Tavares woman eventually drove into a dead-end neighborhood, where she’s accused of briefly using a child as a shield before being arrested on child neglect and fleeing charges.
