• Winter Park has named its next city manager (orlandoshine.com) — A Maitland resident, Michelle del Valle, has been tapped to become Winter Park’s next city manager in January, after years working in both Maitland and Winter Park governments. Commissioners skipped a national search, citing her deep local experience and relationships, and she’ll be required to relocate from Maitland once she assumes the role.
