The case remains open as officers continue gathering information.

• Commissioners Approve Cell Tower, Multi-Use Trail Support (jacksoncountytimes.news) — Jackson County commissioners have unanimously backed adding the proposed Marianna Multi-Use Trail to a key regional transportation plan, a step that could help secure future funding and support. At the same meeting, they also approved a new wireless telecommunications tower, potentially improving cell service for nearby residents. Both measures passed without public opposition.
