8 FL High School Grads To Play In Super Bowl 60
Eight of the players on the Seahawks and Patriots got their start in Florida. Here's where they went to high school.
Some familiar Florida names are on the roster in Sunday’s Super Bowl LX between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Eight of the players on the two NFL rosters got their start in playing high school football in Florida, according to High School Football America. They include a wide receiver, a cornerback and a linebacker.

- Carlton Davis, Cornerback, Miami Norland High School, Miami Gardens, Patriots
- Demario Douglas, Wide Receiver, Mandarin High School, Jacksonville, Patriots
- Cory Durden, Defensive Lineman, Newberry High School, Newberry, Patriots
- Tyrice Knight, Linebacker, Lake Gibson High School, Lakeland, Seahawks
- Mike Morris, Defensive End, American Heritage High School, Plantation, Seahawks
- Leonard Williams, Defensive Tackle, Mainland High School, Daytona Beach, Seahawks
- Devon Witherspoon, Cornerback, Pine Forest High School, Pensacola, Seahawks
Fourteen former Texas high school athletes are on the rosters, with eight playing for the Patriots and six for the Seahawks. California has 13 players on the two teams’ rosters.
In all, former high school athletes from 30 states will be playing in Super Bowl 60.
