Ocean One Breaks Ground in Boynton Beach, Marking a Major Milestone for the City’s Redevelopment

City officials, project partners, and community leaders gathered Tuesday, October 6 to celebrate the official groundbreaking of Ocean One, a transformative class A mixed‑use development set to expand Boynton Beach’s residential and retail offerings and support the city’s long‑term growth strategy.
Developed by Hyperion Group, Winter Properties, WREP, and Silverstein Properties, supported by equity funding from affiliates of Cantor Fitzgerald and Silverstein Properties, and construction financing from Madison Realty Capital, Ocean One represents one of the most significant new investments in Boynton Beach’s urban core. The project will deliver 371 luxury rental residences and 25,500 square feet of curated retail, creating a vibrant, walkable environment designed to strengthen the city’s economic foundation.
The project’s architectural design is led by Miami-based Arquitectonica, internationally recognized for its innovative, contemporary approach to urban development.
Ocean One will offer a comprehensive suite of class A amenities, including a resort‑style pool deck, state‑of‑the‑art fitness center, resident lounge and coworking spaces, outdoor recreation areas, secure package and mail facilities, on‑site management services, and thoughtfully designed communal spaces that support luxury living and community engagement.
The City of Boynton Beach has played a pivotal role in advancing Ocean One, contributing essential support and partnering closely with the development team to bring this project to fruition. To further support the project, the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency approved up to $11.5 million in Tax Increment Revenue Funding over a 14-year term. As part of the agreement, Ocean One will also provide 90 public parking spaces and 20 on-street public parking spaces in perpetuity, further supporting accessibility and continued investment in Downtown Boynton Beach. Through its commitment to responsible growth and strategic redevelopment, the City and CRA have helped shape a project that aligns with community priorities and enhances the broader vision for the area.
“Ocean One is more than a development—it’s a commitment to Boynton Beach’s future,” said Robert Vecsler, CEO of Hyperion Group. “Today’s groundbreaking marks the beginning of a project that will bring new housing, new jobs, and new energy to the city. We are grateful for the City’s partnership and shared vision.”
City officials echoed this sentiment, highlighting Ocean One as a model for public‑private collaboration that expands housing availability, enhances public spaces, and supports continued economic momentum.
Ocean One is expected to become a cornerstone of Boynton Beach’s evolving landscape, offering residents and visitors an amenity‑rich destination within the city’s growing district.
