Here are the top five stories today in Miami:

1. Miami-Dade County is under a mosquito-borne illness advisory after the first locally transmitted case of dengue infection this year was confirmed in the area, according to a release from Florida Department of Health (DOH) in Miami-Dade County. Severe illness from dengue can result in shock, internal bleeding and death, according to the DOH Miami. (Miami Patch)

2. CitizenM's Brickell hotel opened to its first paying guests on Monday. The new hotel features 252 rooms and rises 20 stories tall. It is the first hotel for Netherlands-based CitizenM in Miami with a second location planned at Miami Worldcenter later this year. (The Next Miami)

3. One person was injured in a shooting early Tuesday morning in the city of Miami, according to authorities. Officers responded to the incident at the 6200 block of Northwest 17th Avenue around 2 a.m. (WPLG Local 10)

4. A baby boy was found dead in Homestead at Lincoln-Marti Daycare near North Krome Avenue and Northwest Fifth Street. The daycare told WSVN news they are working with the authorities to determine what caused the situation and offered sincere condolences to the family. (WSVN)

5. Miami Teen Court is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The court helps give Miami youth offenders a second chance to demonstrate their positivity through alternative proceedings. The program focuses on the "judicial system being a tool for growth and understanding instead of a vehicle for punishment." (Miami's Community News)
